Recently, the Ministry of Finance’s Digital Transformation Steering Committee issued Decision No. 24/QD-BCĐCĐS dated April 15, 2024, promulgating the Operation Plan of the Ministry of Finance's Digital Transformation Steering Committee in 2024. This decision takes effect from the date of signing.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance’s Digital Transformation Steering Committee continues to effectively implement the goals approved in Decision No. 1484/QĐ-BTC dated July 27, 2022, on approving the Digital Transformation Plan of the Ministry of Finance until 2025, with a vision to 2030, which ensures: Providing quality digital financial services to serve society; Optimizing operations of the Ministry of Finance; Widely mobilizing social participation; The arising goals assigned by the Politburo and the Government in the following years.
The main missions of the Ministry of Finance’s Digital Transformation Steering Committee include: Continuing to effectively implement the tasks and solutions approved in Decision No. 1484/QĐ-BTC dated July 27, 2022, on The approval of the Ministry of Finance's Digital Transformation Plan until 2025, with an orientation to 2030, includes: Propagating and thoroughly disseminating the Party and State's policies on digital transformation; Improving policy mechanisms; Implementing several specific programs and tasks to serve digital transformation of the Ministry of Finance, tasks arise according to the direction of the Government and the guidance of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The Ministry of Finance’s Digital Transformation Steering Committee is responsible for urging, monitoring, supervising, checking progress, and directing organizations and units to implement tasks and solutions in the 2024 Digital Transformation Plan of the Ministry of Finance. For tasks led by the unit, members of the steering committee integrate the report on digital transformation into content in the report of the head of the digital transformation steering committee at monthly meetings.
