On May 26th 2020, Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 43/2020/TT-BTC regulating rates of fees for substantive examination of non-commercial documents for grant of publishing permits, charges for grant of permits for import and export of non-commercial publications, and charges for registration for importation of commercial publications.

According to this Circular, from May 26th to December 31st, 2020, various publishing fee and charge rates will be reduced by 50% in comparison with those prescribed in Article 4 of the Circular No. 214/2016/TT-BTC dated November 10th 2016.

In the time this Circular takes effect, the fee and charge rates regulated in the Article 4 of the Circular No 214/2016/TT-BTC are not applied. From January 1, 2021 onwards, rates of the aforesaid fees and charges will be again subject to regulations laid down in Article 4 in the Circular No. 214.

Circular No. 43/2020/TT-BTC takes effect from May 26, 2020 to end of December 31, 2020.
