Vietnam and Korea signed ODA loan agreement for constructing Lo Te – Rach Soi Highway

On 5th April 2013, authorized by the Prime Minister, Deputy Finance Minister Truong Chi Trung and Mr Kim Yong Hwan, chairman and president of Export - Import Bank of Korea, signed an ODA loan agreement of $200 million for constructing Lo Te - Rach Soi highway. The highway will be situated in Can Tho province and Kien Giang province, connecting Vam Cong bridge with Rach Gia bypass. It plays an important role in connecting transportation and promoting local economic development.

On April 3rd and 4th, within the framework of ASEAN financial cooperation, under the host of Brunei, the 17th ASEAN Finance Ministers’ Meeting (AFMM 17) was organized in Brunei Darussalam. Participants of the Meeting included ASEAN Finance Ministers, ASEAN General Secretary Le Luong Minh, Vice Chairman of ADB, Vice CEO of IMF, President of WB, Director of ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) and financial – banking officers of member nations.
